Alejandro Garnacho asked Cristiano Ronaldo for permission for his new ‘nap’ party after scoring his first goal for Manchester United.
The teenager scored with a stunning strike to give United a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in their last group stage match in the Europa League.
The attack became even more special for the 18-year-old, given that it was his ‘idol’ Ronaldo who put him on target, netting a ‘dream’ first goal for his club.

As he celebrated with his United team-mates, you can see Garnacho Ronaldo asking if he can use his new feast as he gestures it to the Portuguese talisman.
The heartwarming moment makes Ronaldo laugh, before patting Garnacho on the head and granting him his wish.
Moments later, the young Argentine withdraws from his United teammates and pays tribute to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
Garnacho took to social media after the game to thank Ronaldo for his part in making it a night he would never forget.

Garnacho tweeted: ’18 years and 125 days dreaming of this moment. Thanks Idol, @Cristiano’
Garnacho’s strike also earned the praise of United greats Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves, who praised the young forward.
At halftime on BT Sport, both Hargreaves and Scholes spoke to him that he was United’s best in another encouraging performance.
“I’m very happy for the young lad, he’s been United’s best player,” Scholes said.
“That second touch really makes the target, he takes it off his feet and shoves it into the top corner. I think he has been by far the biggest attacking threat on the pitch. I don’t think the keeper is covering himself with glory, but it’s a nice finish.’

Meanwhile, Hargreaves added: ‘That’s the beauty of young children, they play with a real enthusiasm. Every time he touches it, he rushes forward, the first touch is great. It’s great to see him being coached by Cristiano [Ronaldo].
“He’s a really good player and it’s nice to see him perform on the biggest stage.”
Ronaldo recently ditched his signature ‘SIUUU’ celebration in favor of his new sleeper, which is said to be a self-deprecation between Ronaldo and his teammates, according to The official website of Manchester United.
Ronaldo is known for keeping himself in good shape off the pitch and also making sure he gets plenty of rest, with the party representing Ronaldo’s position in Ronaldo’s sleep when he travels with the squad.
The 37-year-old used his newfound celebration after scoring his 700th goal of his career in a win over Everton last month, while his impact on the football world saw the celebration used by other players – and even young mascots.

While it will have been another dream come true for Garnacho, the same cannot be said for United and Erik ten Hag, who fell short of their lead in their Europa League group.
United had to win by a margin of two goals against Real Sociedad to finish on top and secure their place in the knockout stage.
Now United are facing the prospect of a Champions League knockout in a play-off match for a place in the next round, possibly meeting the likes of Barcelona and Juventus.
United will announce their opponents in the play-offs on Monday.
